ORIJIN STONE was founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team John and Nicole Richards, drawing on years of experience in high-end landscape design and installation. From the beginning, we understood the collaboration required to create exceptional residential environments—and set out to redefine the experience of selecting and working with natural stone.

Today, ORIJIN STONE has grown into a formidable team of over 50 skilled stone experts and operates the Twin Cities’ largest and most capable custom stone fabrication facility. Our materials and expertise support distinguished projects across the country, with work featured in Architectural Digest, ELLE Decor, and other leading design publications.

Our team—from sales and design to technical drafting, fabrication, and quality control—partners closely with architects, designers, and builders to help realize their most ambitious work. Together, we offer one of the region’s most distinctive collections of natural stone, including exclusive materials sourced from quarries around the world.
