Sales & Customer Support Manager

To drive continued success, we seek an experienced Sales and Customer Support Manager to join our company. This newly created position will lead our sales and customer support efforts in a strategic and hands-on role that has the opportunity to significantly impact our bottom line through expanded sales and improved processes. If you have a background in stone, tile, countertop, or other facets of the building industry and are seeking a leadership role with opportunity for great impact, we hope to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve Sales Growth

o Define and implement sales strategy
o Hit sales targets through successfully hiring, training and managing sales team
o Build and promote long lasting customer relationships
o Train and support team on identifying and closing sales opportunities
o Create and present sales and revenue reports to management team

  • Refine workflow process

o Oversee customer support activities
o Refine customer support workflow to ensure exceptional customer experience
o Develop and monitor communication systems between sales, customer support and production

  • Lead Customer Support

o Manage customer support practices, ensuring standards are established and followed
o Resolve complex or escalated customer issues
o Point person for quality control and return approval
o Develop methods to record and analyze customer feedback
o Create, manage and report customer support and performance metrics to management team

  • Team Leadership / Management

o Recruit, hire and manage Customer Support and Sales team
o Develop and assign accountabilities, evaluate performance
o Provide coaching and support as needed

Qualified candidates will have 5 – 7+ years of proven leadership experience, preferably managing a Sales &/or Customer Support team. We seek candidates with highly related industry experience, preferably with a stone company, tile or countertop manufacturer or vendor. Candidates will need a demonstrated record of managing and leading a team to achieve strategic sales and customer satisfaction goals. Requirements include high proficiency with MS Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
